Raising my bar in the corporate

In December 2018, a mail was forwarded to me regarding internship at 7MED India, just before the interview while i was on my way to the interview with my colleague Dishti i googled about the organisation and figured out that it was renal dialysis care company but wasn’t really clear about the business it was upholding. The firm is a start up, established in 2013 and has gained 5th position this April in the renal dialysis business.

Once the initial screening was completed, a face-to-face interview was scheduled with the heads of finance department also one of the three directors of the firm who explained me all about the organisation in short, i had never experienced such cordial interview till then. during the interview he asked me what did wanted from the firm my reply to him was “i am at a level zero i want u to get me trained so that i can stand up in the corporate world” to which he replied “no you are not at level zero you just need to get a final touch.”

On 19 February 2019, i set my foot for the first time in the corporate as a trainee at 7MED India, I was very confused with which stream to go for.  I joined there as a finance trainee where i was under guidance of Mr Jeetendra Panchal who was very polite and shy in nature with a naughty mind. under his guidance i got to know about various petty cash generated at the 18 dialysis centers and management of the receipts and putting that data up on the company server.

After the duration of 2 weeks i understood that finance was not my cup of tea so i switched to marketing where i was under guidance of Mr Mayank Sharma(one of the directors) and our co guide Mr Gaurav(head of operations). I got to acquire a lot of knowledge under my mentor Mayank sir,  his level of patience and his sense of humor unbeatable, his presence brought positive vibes in the environment. With their guidance and support i got to see earnest perspective of marketing the company. The marketing team organised a function at the bahadurgarh center for the patients on the occasion of kidney day which was a great experience acknowledging patients closely and have their perspective on how being on dialysis has changed their life.

with free time in my hand i took an advantage of working with the human resource department also where i was under guidance of miss Devanshi Bareja (head of HR). Here i got to work on the HRStop which is the company database of all the employees in the firm. I also dipped my hands into recruitment of technicians for the centers which was exciting experience as i have been giving a lot of interviews through my academic journey this was the first time other way round.

These three months of my internship at 7MED revealed me the true side of the corporate world in the most neighborly environment which were full of knowledge, friendships, memories and i will always cherish these moments all my life. After my internship at 7MED i can surely say that i have raised my bar up
